The Arkansas Council for Military Children will hold an online forum on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The forum is an opportunity for military families to discuss their needs and concerns with members of the Council. Military families can join the forum at any time during that period using the zoom link below. From 10:00 to 10:30, a representative of the Office of School Choice and Parental Empowerment, Dustin Wood, will present information regarding Education Freedom Accounts. For the 2024-25 academic year, Education Freedom Accounts will be expanded to include children of those individuals who serve in reserve units, the Arkansas National Guard, or are honorably discharged veterans. As with the 2023-24 academic year, children of active duty service personnel are also eligible.
