Board members are elected from five zoned areas.

The Board of Education for the Mountainburg Public School District meets the 3rd Monday of each month in the Administration Offices located at 129 Hwy 71 SW.
Study sessions begin at 5:15 and business sessions begin at 6:00 pm unless otherwise announced.
Recent AR Law changes allow Boards to elect members at-large.
The Board passed a resolution to elect representatives at-large, which goes into effect with the May 2025 election.
