Today we have wrapped up our One School, One Book event. A big Thank You goes out to all who have helped to make this event a success including: All of the chapter readers, business donations from Pizza Den, Sonic, and Taco Bell, the Mountainburg Public Library, teachers, parents and students. Thanks again

Congratulations to our project winners! For their creative displays of Miss Honey's cottage, Lele Gabbard from Kindergarten and Jax Sullivan from 1st grade are the winners of giant pop-its and gift certificates from the Pizza Den. Thank you to all who participated. The staff at MES thought it was very hard to choose from all the great entries .



Congratulations to Jacob Looper! He has received MOS Certifcations for Word, PowerPoint, and Excel through Survey of Business! He is recognized as a Microsoft Office Specialist Associate.
Jacob will continue preparing for advanced certifications.

Our MJH Cheer team proudly cheered on the Junior High Dragons in their victory tonight over Ozark! Our girls are wearing purple bows in November for Pancreatic Cancer Month in support of all those fighting their fight. We love you Mrs. Jamie! Go Dragons!

A giant SHOUT OUT to the Mountainburg Public Library! Since we read about Matilda making several trips to the library at the beginning of our book, we planned a visit to our hometown library. Thank you, Mountainburg Public Library for allowing our students to come and learn about all the great activities that are available at our Mountainburg library location. The library definitely made the elementary school feel welcome today!
