Twenty-five MHS seniors attended Draft Day sponsored by Be Pro, Be Proud. The event was held at the Peak Innovation Center in Fort Smith.
The students went with their resumes in hand and ready to interview with various industry leaders from the area. Several seniors were asked to contact the representative about potential employment after they graduate in May. For many, this was their first time to have a formal interview.
We were thrilled to have the opportunity to take our students to this event. We plan to make this a yearly event and to involve more students. Today, each senior walked away with something positive to share about the experience.

Dragons, what do your Actions say about you?

March is National Nutrition Month - an annual campaign created in 1973 by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics to bring awareness to making informed food choices and developing healthful eating and physical activity habits. Our diet is the #1 factor that impacts our health. By giving our bodies good fuel, we can ensure it will give us good back.

During March, Arkansas recognizes the month as School Breakfast Month which is an important part of student health in the education system.
We may be breathe fire, but EVEN Dragons Eat Breakfast!

Wrestling is coming to MHS!

Math and science teachers train with our PLC assessment coach Dr Becky Stobaugh on Depth of Knowledge (DOK). This is an imported part of each teacher's work as we align standards, content, and cognitive levels when planning curriculum and instruction. Dragon💙Strong
