Thank you, so much, to so many Dragon supporters for the generosity and kindness shown to our faculty and staff for Teacher Appreciation week. It was a special sight to see their faces light up when they got a special Sonic drink delivered, gift cards, massages, sweet treats. The laughs they got to share with friends grabbing lunches on the go put a little extra spring in their steps each day. Dragon 💙Strong

I called our transportation director to report a bus from a neighboring district broken down along the interstate. He was already loading up and heading out with a bus and parts. Thankful for Jerry and his commitment to serve students....ours or theirs. Dragon 💙Strong -Doc

Mountainburg Boys & Girls Club Summer Camp only 30 spots left!

Congratulations to Madden Bentley for furthering his education and golf career. Madden just signed his letter of intent to play golf at Lyon College.

Graduation Location Update: As of today (May 12), the 2023 graduation will be held in Dragon Stadium on the football field, weather pending. If necessary, it will be moved to Carl D. Rogers Gymnasium. We plan to make a definitive answer by Tuesday evening. More updates will be posted as needed.

The day has arrived... The Class of 2023 has finished their time at MHS. We started at MES with the traditional senior walk-through and a group picture with the Class of 2036. Then they went to Hwy 282 for the farewell photo. Thank you Ed and Dama Smith for letting us use that spot again.

Today is the LAST day for the Buy One Get One Free (BOGO) Scholastic Book Fair at MES! Don't miss out on this great opportunity to stock up for Summer Reading! The Book Fair will be open until 6:00 tonight! Come see Mrs. Voeller!

Today's MHS lunch was provided by FFA! Thank you, FFA, from the MHS staff!

Monday our seniors kicked off their last week with a special lunch from our cafeteria. We appreciate the cafeteria for taking care of our kids each day and prepare wonderful meals for our Dragons 💙

Mrs. Cumming's foods classes created food trucks. They had to create a business plan, plan a menu, design the truck, and then present to their class. Tomorrow they will make one of their recipes! We loved the creativity!

Thank you Callie Mann for bringing some delicious sweets to MHS! Callie is an MHS grad and owner of The Wren's Nest in town.

MMSBA PTO is the best!! They have pulled out all the stops for Teacher Appreciation Week. Monday PTO set up the lounge for a “Ready for Summer theme”. PTO provided breakfast and Uptown Frills donated a delicious pasta lunch! Tuesday, STUCO provided a nacho bar for lunch, and today Mountainburg PIZZA DEN provided lunch!! Plus, they have had daily drawings for teachers! We appreciate everything they do for us!

It was a Fiesta today for elementary teachers! Thanks PTO and parents for all that you have done for us this week!

7th - 12th Grade Science Position

MHS enjoyed another great meal today! Thank you Mike and Lisa Sims for providing pulled pork, hamburger buns, and baked beans. It is great to have MHS graduates continue to support Mountainburg Schools.

Another great group is being celebrated this week along with our awesome teachers, and that’s our nurses. Fortunately, Mountainburg is blessed to have two of the best! If you see Nurse Amy or Nurse Amber this week, be sure to tell them thank you for all that they do to keep our children healthy and safe. Happy National Nurses Week to these and all the wonderful nurses in our community!
