Official 23-24 School Calendar - Approved April 24, 2023

A simple thank you doesn't seem adequate for what was done for the teachers at MHS last week for Teacher Appreciation Week. So many on the list below continually support our schools and our students. Thank you so very much!

Graduation Location Update: Dragon Stadium would be the most comfortable location for everyone; however, we are going to give the weather forecast a day or two and then decide. Fingers crossed that the weather does cooperate. Graduation will be on campus either in Carl D. Rogers Gymnasium or in Dragon Stadium.

Summer 2023 P - EBT Information: Mountainburg Public Schools participates in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program. Students attending a school participating in CEP will be eligible for the Summer 2023 P-EBT benefit for a one-time payment of $120,00. Timeline: June 2, 2023 DESE will pull eligible student data from the statewide School database. DESE will send the data file to DHS for payment processing. July-September 2023 - DHS will process and issue Summer 2023 P-EBT benefits. September 30, 2023 - USDA's deadline for all Summer 2023 P-EBT benefits to be paid.

Mountainburg Boys & Girls Club Summer Camp!

Plans are to have a definite decision on the location of graduation on Tuesday, May 16.

Congratulations to MHS Senior, Blake Foley! He competed in the FBLA District I Spring Leadership Conference and placed 1st in Networking Infrastructures. He went on to compete at state and placed 3rd! Way to go Blake!

The MES Memory Books are here! All pre-orders are being sent home today, so be sure and check backpacks! The Memory Books are on sale now until the last day of school! Don't delay...there is only a limited number so first come - first served! Thank you!

Some of our Mountainburg cheerleaders volunteered this morning at the Morgan Nick 5K! They passed out waters and encouraged the runners! It was great to see one of our students, Olivia Prothro, participating in the run! 💙

Come on out and support our cheer teams today at Atwoods in Alma! We will be selling hot dogs and drinks from 10:00- 2:00! Help us get our teams to cheer camp!

Yesterdays lunch at MHS was provided by our Food Production class. Monte Cristos! Yum!

On behalf of MES and our MES PTO, we want to thank all of the parents who contributed to our amazing Teacher Appreciation Week! We also want to thank Uptown Frills, Citizen's Bank, and Rocky Top 4-H for your generous donations. Thanks to Emiley Shepherd for being willing to help our staff relax a bit with mini massages! Thanks to Mr. Crow for running the grill today, and everyone who pitched in! We were feeling the love this week for sure!
