PARENTS/GUARDIANS/STUDENTS: This is simply a reminder about Heritage Portraits and the availability of ordering photos online through their website.
Heritage Portraits provides a great deal of photography services to the district. They very seldom take down galleries of photos from their website.
You can order a lot of photos dated back to 2016. Some of the photos may require a passcode. If so, you will need to contact Heritage Portraits for the passcode or assistance with logging in and ordering. Their number is 479-471-9294.
Cell phones capture a moment in an instant, but what if your phone dies or gets damaged and you lose all your photos? Or if you upload them to a computer, and it crashes. There is always the potential of losing that digital photo.
This link will take you to the Mountainburg gallery:

MHS Varsity Cheerleader of the Week is Christopher Granados! Christopher is an asset to the team, has a can-do attitude, and is ready to step out of his comfort zone to try new challenges when asked for our team and MHS as a whole! We are proud of his work this week and are looking forward to watching him grow in the sport of cheer as we go through our seasons of football, competition, and basketball! Go Christopher and Go Dragons! Thanks again to Pizza Den of Mountainburg for providing our cheerleader of the week with a shake of their choice! We love our community partners!

As a part of #WhyApply day, our students were encouraged to participate. If a senior has applied to a college or trade school, they are able to sign their name on a banner for the rest of the school to see and then get a prize!
We have already had 40% of our seniors apply to a college or trade school this year. Way to go Class of 2025! #WhyApply

Today we kicked off the start of our College Application Campaign at Mountainburg High School by showing students why their teachers applied to college. This fall, we plan to help every senior apply to a college, trade school, military branch, or an apprenticeship to prepare for their futures outside of high school. Encourage your own students to apply! #WhyApply
For more questions about the campaign or our plans this fall, you can contact our career coach, Mrs. Hays at
hannah.hays@mountainburg.org.

Help us congratulate Jacob Ulmer on his positive office referral that he received today. Mrs. Ewald says that Jacob takes the initiative to put all the unused chairs down. He is genuinely helpful. Good job Jacob!

MHS is implenting "MHS Student of the Week" and "MHS Teacher of the Week" this school year.
Teachers have the opportunity to nominate a colleague and a student. Students can nominate a teacher of the week. The nominations are then put into a wheel of names to be chosen every Friday morning.
Congratulations to the first selections for the 24-25 school year!
Here is what the teachers say about Ethan Becker:

He actively participates in class.
