We ask that all PK - 11th grade students have their picture taken tomorrow. Administrators, teachers, and staff are encouraged to get theirs done as well.
You do not need to send money tomorrow. A proof sheet will be done for each student that can be used for ordering or you can order online. Please keep the proof sheet with the password for ordering online.
**Sr High Football players can wear their jerseys or change into a different shirt.**
Good morning Dragons😊It's National Mail Carrier Day!

COMMUNITY SERVICE LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES: MHS Parents and Students - below is information about several upcoming CSL opportunities for 9th - 12th grade students.
**Starting with the Class of 2027 (current sophomores), students are now required to have 75 hours of CSL in order to graduate.**

This is a great way for the community to get involved with helping our athletes on road trips to different athletic events.

Shout out to Antwan Garcia for helping design and cut out an adapter plate for the office call button. He used the CNC plasma cutter in Ag Metals class.

Celebrating the positive at MMS. These students picked up trash on our playground this morning. Keep up the good work Katie Blair, Kamdynn Turner, Kaeidynce Langley, and Natalie Slusher. Go Dragons!

Welcome back Dragons! The 3 day weekend was great, but today it's time to get back to work growing our skills, and learning new things.

Dragons have a great day. 😊

How awesome it is that September has arrived! Now just to get some cooler temperatures around here.
MMS and MHS have a new nurse this year - Nurse Lacey Rogers, RN.
She is needing parents to return their student's enrollment packets so that she knows what approved OTC treatments your student can have (i.e. Tylenol. Iburprofen, Benadryl, etc.). Until this packet is returned, if your student needs an OTC treatment, she won't be able to provide it to them.
The weather is going to continue to be warm. Parents, please help us with enforcing the school dress code. There is a time and place for crop tops to be worn. If the shirt doesn't stay down when the arms are raised, then it is too short to wear to school. Thank you for your help and attention to this matter.
The first week of the 2024 Dragon Football season is here! Coach Dean's letter about admission and season passes is below along with reminders about Dragon Stadium.

MES will be celebrating Grandparents Day on September 6.

SHOUT OUT to MHS Freshman Aubrey Stanley! Her mom, Samantha Stanley, just posted this: I honestly just have no words at the moment…if you only knew what all it took to get here. All the hard work paid off and everything came together for this team to lay down an absolutely BEAUTIFUL pattern and come out RESERVE STATE CHAMPION in the Buckaroo (13U) Horsemanship with her highest score yet, 160.5!! Proud is an understatement.

THANK YOU MOUNTAINBURG and MOUNTAINBURG STUDENTS AND TEACHERS! The Hot Wheels for Darren drive was a success beyond anything we expected! Between what was collected at MHS and MES, over 250 Hot Wheels cars were donated for Darren! His sister, Chloe, is taking several to him this weekend. We appreciate everyone's generosity this week.
