Once a month MHS has a Celebration Focus. Here, Mrs. Cristee or another designee will highlight all the great things happening at MHS and recognize student achievements. Today was about having some pre-Thanksgiving Break fun! Thank you Mrs. Mirus and students for organizing today's fun!

The tradition of reserving a seat continues! And there are plenty left to reserve.
If you see a name card below a seat on the home side, as seen in the photo, that indicates the seat is reserved.
This has been a great way to bring in revenue for the Mountainburg Athletic Dept. Your continued support is greatly appreciated.
PTO's family movie night has been rescheduled! See the attached flyer for more information. We'll also have the holiday store open if families want to shop with their students.

Reminder: Retake & Make-up Picture Day - Monday, November 17
Dear Parents,
This is a friendly reminder that Retake & Make-up Picture Day will be held on Monday, November 17 for all PK - 11th grade students.
Who needs to attend?
If you were pleased with the pictures taken on October 17, no action is needed.
If your child was absent on October 17 or enrolled after that date, they will need to have their picture taken so it appears in the yearbook.
Please ensure your child attends on November 17 if one of the above applies to them. We want to make sure every student has their photo included in the yearbook!

MHS Varsity Cheer traveled to the Har-Ber Invitational Cheer Competition! They came in 2nd place in the 1-3A Gameday Division! They had a great showing on the mat for their first competition of the season! Shout out to B's in the Burg for showing them some love by providing lunch for the team as they headed out! Their next competition is this Saturday, November 22nd at Alma High School. They will compete in their first round at 4:57. Tickets must be purchased at the link below. Come on out and support the team! They would love to have fans yelling with them! Go Dragons!

Out of 5 that qualified for the River Valley All-Star meet today in Mansfield we had 4 medal inside the top 10. Olivia Prothro won the girls event finishing the race with one shoe. Ethan Manus was our top finisher in the boys event in 3rd place. Nicholas Rodriguez and Levi Wilcox also placed coming in with 6th and 7th place respectively. Manus' team which included both He and Wilcox won the team event. It was a very strong showing by the XC Dragons at a really tough race.

Students were held in classes this afternoon for a brief time due to an ambulance being called to Mountainburg Elementary School. This situation did not involve any of our students. The individual is receiving medical care at this time. I just wanted to share this information in case your student had concerns or questions.
