MMS and MHS Faculty, Staff, and Students were honored to have some very special guests on our campus today - our local and area veterans.
Thank you so much to these men and women who attended and/or participated in the assembly. MHS graduate, Wesley Jackson, was our keynote speaker.
The Veterans Day Assembly has become a valued tradition at MMS and MHS. Thank you to Mrs. Boland, Mrs. Brown, Ms. Sorensen, and Mrs. Vanzandt for coordinating the assembly. Hats off to wonderful performances from the Band of Dragons and the MHS Choir. Thank you and job well done members of MMS and MHS Student Councils for leading the entire assembly.

Who will be the biggest turkeys at Mountainburg Elementary this year?
You decide!
The MES P.T.O. will be hosting our annual November fundraiser of selling paper turkey feathers to "dress" the teachers’ and students’ turkeys on the bulletin board. The feathers will go on sale this Friday, Nov. 12th-18th. The teacher and student with the most feathers will have to dress up (and dance) as a turkey on Friday, Nov 19th. Feathers are $0.25 each or 5/$1. Proceeds help support the MES P.T.O. activities, projects, and events. All are welcome to send money to fluff some feathers of your choice of turkeys!

Good Morning! Mr. Boyd Mize will be reading our Charlotte's Web selection on the video-recording today - Chapter 10, pgs. 66-76; titled, An Explosion.
