The 2025-2026 school year is just around the corner, and we’re getting everything ready to welcome our Dragon students back! See the graphics below for information about completing back-to-school paperwork early and Open House at MHS.
Back-to-School Paperwork
Be sure to complete all required forms before the first day of school.This can be done the week of July 28 - August 1 at the high school office.
MHS Open House
Date:Thursday, August 7
Time: 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Location: Mountainburg High School
Incoming Freshman and Seniors along with parents and guardians are invited to attend their respective class meetings to get an idea as to what to expect for this coming school year. These will be in the high school library.

MHS Varsity Cheer attended NCA Camp in Fayetteville last week! The camp focused on gameday elements, performance, and stunts! All 10 athletes on our Varsity team were nominated for All-American! 6 of our athletes made the All-American Team for 25-26: Austin Howard, Abbey Griffith, Emma Yount, Paige Quinnones, Willow Hecox, and Caroline Becker! Austin Howard won the Top Tumbler Award and Top All-American for the highest overall score! Abbey Griffith received the Pin-It Forward Award! The team placed 1st in the Small Varsity Gameday Competition and received a Technical Excellence Award for Crowdleading! The team also earned a Superior rating in their Bandchant evaluation, the highest ranking given by NCA! The team would like to give a special thanks to Rachel Yount and the Becker family for providing team lunches! Also, a special thank you goes out to Rockhouse Design for always helping us look our best in our camp gear at an affordable price! MHS cheer is looking forward to a great year of Dragon athletics, and we hope to see everyone at the ribbon cutting ceremony of our new facility and pep rally on August 2nd at 2:00!
**Attention: Vehicle Notice**
A vehicle registered to **Lawrence Brandenburg** is currently parked in the school parking lot by the Mountainburg Schools Administration Building. This vehicle must be moved TODAY - JULY 21.
If it is not removed TODAY, it will be towed at the owner's expense.
Please address this matter as soon as possible or call 479-369-2121.

Great Opportunity for Community Service Learning Hours for MHS Students
The Mountainburg Library is hosting a Bluey Ice Cream Social event next Saturday, July 26th, from 10:30-2:00pm. Ms. Julia and her team are needing volunteers to come help.
The program numbers have been off the charts and record setting again this summer at the library. There were 47 children participate in Summer Art Camp this past week.
They are appreciative of any help.

Starting this school year, Arkansas law requires no cell phone use by students during instructional time — from bell to bell.
Mountainburg Schools will be following this law to help students stay focused and make the most of their learning time.

Band Camp Begins!
Our talented musicians hit the ground running as Band Camp officially kicks off! Time to perfect those skills, build team spirit, and make some incredible music. Good luck to all the participants!
