Cross Country Next Week We will have a MANDATORY 4 day Cross Country Camp with both FS Northside and FS Southside. This event is being help at no cost to the school or athletes. Athletes are to bring a water bottle and a towel. I got a bus for next week and we’re bringing the entire team. We will leave the school at 6am sharp and return daily by 10am (11am on Thursday). This event was scheduled around other sports and is Mandatory. If you are injured you will still attend for team bonding and core workout. Only exceptions must be approved in direct verbal communication with the coach. If there is someone we should invite reach out to me and we can arrange it. Event Start time is 7:00 am- finished by 9:00am Monday thru Thursday  The one time exception will be Thursday may go till 10:00am Monday- Distance day and Core Tuesday- Speed day and Core Wednesday- Easy Run and Core Thursday - Girls and Boys split 5k’s followed by beach volleyball tournament.

Important Update: Arkansas Act 122 (“Bell to Bell, No Cell” – effective 2025‑26)
Starting with the 2025–2026 school year, all public school students in Arkansas are required by state law to follow a “Bell to Bell, No Cell” policy.

What this means:
No use of personal electronic devices (phones, smartwatches, earbuds, tablets, laptops, etc.) is allowed from the first bell to the last, across all school areas—classrooms, hallways, cafeteria, restrooms, and more .

Why it matters:
Act 122 aims to reduce distractions and foster a more focused, academic environment during school hours.
