Our campus will be filled with competition, school spirit, and Dragon pride as teams battle it out for a chance to advance. We are one week and two days away from hosting the 2026 Class 2A-1 Regional Basketball Tournament! We are honored that we were selected by the Arkansas Activities Association and this will be the first time ever that Mountainburg has been the host site for a postseason tournament beyond District.
As the host, we are required to follow all guidelines set forth by the Arkansas Activities Association, while also making decisions that are in the best interest of not only the event, but the athletes and the fans who will be here from other schools.

Today we proudly recognize our School Resource Officers, Chief Jayson Peppas and Assistant Chief Tim Akins, for the dedication, leadership, and care they bring to our schools each and every day. Officer Akins joined the Mountainburg Schools Police Department after Christmas Break.
